You may rent for life after experiencing 30 Dalton’s commitment to day-to-day poshness, starting with its location: “The nexus of the South End, Back Bay, and Fenway,” says General Manager Alissa Kekeisen.
The Stats: Two hundred and eighteen luxury rental units (including two duplex penthouse suites aptly named The Charles and The Fenway), 26 floors, three elevators.
The Design: Interiors decorated by Cambridge Seven Associates, with KitchenAid appliances in standard units and Miele in the two penthouses. Exterior designed by Pei Cobb Freed, the same architect behind the Four Seasons next door, which is slated to open in 18 months.
The Perks: A dog spa, monthly “yappy hour” dog parties, “loanables” (picnic baskets, scooters, phone chargers, etc.), a community library, business center, 24-hour gym, and building-appointed personal trainer.

The crown jewel of Downtown Crossing, Millennium Tower stands 60 stories high in the historic former Filenes department store space. “The building is run like a five-star hotel” says Nicole Yonke of Millennium Partners.
The Stats: Four hundred and forty-two condominiums, two lobbies, six elevators, 60 stories.
The Design: Interiors and exteriors by Blake Middleton of Handel Architects. Kitchens are outfitted with Poggenpohl appliances, penthouse kitchens with Christopher Peacock.
The Perks: Twenty-three thousand square feet of amenity space, including a salon, spa, and cutting-edge gym featuring a 75-foot lap pool, FLX fitness programs, and group classes.

THE PIERCE
Start the queue! The Pierce is accepting applications for its 2018 unveiling. Connecting the Longwood medical area, Fenway, and Back Bay, the development will cater to “the luxury resident looking for something edgier,” says Leslie Cohen, principal and COO of broker Samuels & Associates.
The Stats: One hundred and nine condos and 240 luxury rentals, four elevators, 30 stories.
The Design: Interiors by CBT Architects, with Bosch and Sub-Zero appliances in the condos and GE Profile in the apartments. Exterior by Arquitectonica.
The Perks: Street-level retail, a rooftop pool with cabanas (for condo owners), and a gym and yoga studio.
